About Jazzoo Atlanta
OUR HISTORY
Vantage Realty Partners, a commercial real estate firm local to Atlanta, has focused on improving the community in which they live not only by making creative and well-conceived real estate transactions, but also through their organizing efforts related to a very special charity event.
Vantage’s efforts have exclusively focused on a fund raiser coined JAZZOO, a spin-off of an annual event held in Kansas City, which has been successful for twenty years. In 2008, after expenses, the Kansas City Jazzoo event raised over $1.1 million for their zoo. In its second year, JAZZOO ATLANTA 2009, will donate 100% of net proceeds to Zoo Atlanta to help kick off a grand renovation of the zoo facilities, which are scheduled to take place over the next 10 years or more.

FUNDING THE ANIMAL CARE COMPLEX
The new 8,000 square foot Animal Care Complex will be more than twice the size of the Zoo’s outdated clinic and will feature modern necessities such as digital x-ray machines, endoscopic surgical equipment, and, most significantly, sufficient and dedicated quarantine space for a facility of Zoo Atlanta’s size and stature.
Groups from field trips and VIP tours, as well as participants in overnight programs and other educational activities, will be able to observe procedures in clean, modern viewing areas. At least two full-time veterinarians, four vet technicians and a full-time quarantine keeper will work at the new Animal Care Complex.
